How to track your shipment?

How to file a complaint in the event of a damaged, lost or undelivered package?

I am the recipient

If you are the recipient of the package, you cannot lodge a complaint yourself. Fortunately, most of the shippers who ship on the My Flying Box platform have privileged customer service to report any anomalies that have arisen during delivery.

This customer service then contacts the Bpost sender to find suitable solutions. The recipient will be asked to keep the damaged product with the packaging and to take photos if necessary.

I am the sender

If you are the originator of the shipment of the package, your best bet is to contact customer service through the incident manager on the MyFlyingBox platform. You will be able to immediately provide the information and documents necessary for a better management of your file.

In the event of damage to a shipment, a dispute file should be opened within a maximum of 7 working days. Search times for national shipments are 1 to 7 days.

How to properly prepare the package for export? 

  • Your address in case your package needs to be returned
  • Recipient's address, Collection point or Parcel Distributor of your choice.
  • Recipient's e-mail address (required if sending to a Parcel Distributor). In this way, we can take into account his preferences in terms of delivery.
  • The dimensions and weight of your package.

Send a parcel outside Europe from Belgium with Bpost

For a package to a destination outside the European Union, in addition to the above information, you must also completely fill out the CN23 customs form and attach a copy:

On the CN23 must appear:

 

  • The sender,
  • The receiver
  • The HS tariff code (GS code): Under the distribution rules agreed worldwide, goods receive, according to the Harmonized System (HS), a commodity code. Consult the website of the SPF Finances.
  • Country of origin
  • Shipment details
  • Always enclose the invoice or the pro forma in duplicate.
  • For shipments with a commercial value greater than € 1,000, also attach a Single Administrative Document.

Features of shipping method:

The longest side of your package must not exceed 1.5m in length. And if you add up the dimensions, they should not be more than 3m (1 x length + 2 x width + 2 x height).

Observe these rules which apply to packages:

    • The package weighs a maximum of 30 kg;
    • The longest side measures a maximum of 60 cm;
    • All dimensions together are a maximum of 90 cm;
    • In the case of a roll: maximum 60 cm long and 20 cm in diameter.

 

How to protect your package against loss or damage?

Votre colis bénéficie d’une garantie standard de maximum 50 € avec MyFlyingBox. Vous pouvez souscrire une garantie chez MyFlyingBox qui peut couvrir jusqu’à 100.000€ par colis en tant qu’expéditeur professionnel. En cas de vol, de perte ou de dommage, l’indemnisation sera calculée sur la base de la valeur réelle de votre envoi.

Complaints procedure:

  • Uninsured Shipping:

MyFlyingBox offers a guarantee of up to € 50 per package in the event of loss or theft of the package during transit by transport for all services with proof of delivery (against signature).
In case of loss / or theft: Open a ticket in the incident manager on the MyFlyingBox account and a confirmation of the loss with the carrier will be made by our services. On receipt of the confirmation of the loss by the carrier, we can validate your MyflyingBox guarantee. For warranty validation, we will need the purchase and / or sales invoice including the description of your merchandise. We will also reimburse transport costs.

Breakage or damage to your content is not covered by the MyFlyingBox warranty.

 

  • Insured shipping:

A complaint for these insured shipments can be submitted through our incident manager, by selecting the relevant package number. We kindly ask you to download from the incident manager the documents required by the insurance: invoice for your merchandise, photo for packages with a value greater than € 4,000, and proof of deposit for packages left at the post office .

Once completed and validated, your file will be sent to insurance and reimbursement will reach you within 15 days to 4 weeks.

Please note: In the event of loss abroad, we will open an investigation if your package does not change status after:

  • At least 5 working days for shipments to a country to a border country
  • At least 10 working days for shipments to UK and all other countries in the world.

Our insurance limit can cover up to € 100,000 per shipment and per package.

All carriers, including Bpost, have general conditions of carriage. If you deviate from these conditions, surcharges may be charged on your invoice thereafter. When you send with Bpost, you automatically accept Bpost's General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
